The Executive Committee is responsible for addressing any policy, budget, personnel or legislative matter delegated to the Committee by the Governing Board. The Committee meets from time to time but does not have a regularly scheduled meeting. The Committee may act on behalf of the Board.
The Committee is composed of four voting members and one ex-officio, non-voting member. The four voting members are drawn one each from the following categories: County Supervisor, County Administrative Officer, County Health Official, and County Welfare Director. The non-voting member is the representative of the Secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency. The Chair of the Governing Board serves as Chair of the Executive Committee. The committee Vice Chair is elected on an annual basis by committee members. Members of the committee are elected on an annual basis and serve a term of one year.
Agendas for the Executive Committee meeting will be posted on the Friday of the week prior to the meeting.
