Planning & Benefits Committee Meetings

The Planning and Benefits Committee focuses on current CMSP program and policy issues and future directions for the program. Included within its scope of responsibility are benefits design and coverage matters. Matters that are considered by the Planning and Benefits Committee are either directed to the committee by the Governing Board or initiated by the committee itself. All actions by the committee are advisory to the Governing Board, which considers committee recommendations at its regularly scheduled meetings.

The Planning and Benefits Committee is composed of seven members. One member is a representative of the Governing Board and four members are representatives of participating CMSP counties. Two members are representatives of various health care provider and beneficiary organizations.

Agendas for the Planning & Benefits Committee meeting will be posted at least 72-hours before the meeting.
