Healthcare Infrastructure Development Grant

The CMSP Governing Board created the Healthcare Infrastructure Development Matching Grant program (HID Matching Grant) to help counties develop expanded facility capacity to provide healthcare and behavioral health services to underserved populations in CMSP counties. This program operated by assisting counties and their contracted partners in meeting the local financial match requirements of healthcare infrastructure funding opportunities provided by state, federal or other programs.

HID Matching Grant awards ranged up to the lower of $500,000 or a 5% match of the total project cost for projects serving one CMSP county.

Service provision at these new or expanded facilities upon project completion will include:

  • Crisis stabilization
  • Inpatient and integrated outpatient behavioral health services
  • Inpatient and integrated outpatient Alcohol/Substance Use Disorder treatment services
  • Care linkage and resource connection

CMSP awarded six HID Matching Grant projects a collective award total of $2,498,797. Following construction completion, awardee facilities will serve residents in six CMSP counties for a minimum of 30-years.
